STAIR REPAIR An unknowledgeable contractor attached a set of stairs
directly over siding causing damage to EVERYTHING behind his
attachment point. The customer called to ask me why their 10yr
old stairs swayed in the wind. New floor joists were sistered to the undamaged sections of
the older joists. A new foundation sill was notched into the old
one. A new rim joist, sheathing, flashing, siding, paintjob and
Azek kick plate make the old stairs look right at home. Before
this repair, this home would not have passed an inspection.
After our repair, it sold in two weeks.
